In the greater Katahdin Region you never run out of things to do. We are a short drive from Baxter State Park where you can hike and climb numerous mountains including mile high Mt. Katahdin. The park is also full of wildlife like moose, deer, bear, fox and rabbits. The West Branch of the Penobscot River offers some of the best white water rafting on the east coast. Its almost as fun to watch as it is to actually raft the river.
